The Digital Funfair is a collection of work that can and has been installed in many different configurations and locations. Here are some details of our standard set up and most frequently hired out solo pieces. For more specific enquiries and details please get in touch
Space
Power
Our main marquee is a hexagonal bell tent which measures 9m point to point and stands 8m tall.
We have also used multiple 6m x 6m marquees for events, usually provided by the event organiser.
For overnight events we require space for live in vehicles behind the tent.

At full power the funfair requires a nominal maximum of 4.5KW of electricity. Two 16A supplies are ample. For indoor events we can use 13A sockets.
Generator power must be of a type suitable for sensitive equipment i.e pure sine wave. Standard events generators or grid power will be fine.
We require power throughout the set up to test and calibrate all the attractions.
Time
Sound & Light
To set up the whole show usually takes a day and a half.
De-rig is quicker - around half a day.
The Beat Jigsaw uses 2 x Yamaha DXR 15 rated at 1100W each
Just Press Play uses 2 x Alto PS4 HA active speakers which are rated at 400W each.
In practice, these are never turned up full.
All lights are LEDS
Vehicles
We currently carry the show in an Iveco Luton Van and a Box Trailer. For multi day events we have a Sprinter Camper and sometimes other crew vehicles.
Security
Requirements vary! For multi day festival type events we sleep behind the marquee and lock valuables in vehicles overnight. Heras fencing may be required to secure the backstage area. In certain environments e.g towns overnight security is required. Get in touch to talk it through!
Opening Hours
For events which last several days we usually guarantee to be open for 8 hours a day. Of course we will discuss this with you prior to the event.
Insurance
We provide Public Liability Insurance for up to 10 million GBP. A copy is available on request. We expect events to be insured against damage or theft.
